We have been coming to Manteo for over 10 years. Always enjoy visiting. It is too bad that Karl Jordan has retired as the dock master. He was the best. We self docked ourselves at the T head which was not a problem. There are always friendly boaters to help dock our boat
Nice facility right in the heart of downtown. Great restaurants nearby on Granby St. Good rates and very little roll through the boat basin.
Nice small marina with floating docks. Town is very cute. Great doughnut shop and a few restaurants. However we were there on a Monday and only the Blarney Stone was open. Very good pub food. Farmers market on Saturday
Had a nice 2 day stay. Disappointed that the restaurant was closed but pool was nice to have on a hot day. Great internet. Docks are a bit worn and there is no breaker for power. Hot power plug!
What a great place. There are activities galore and many places to eat at on property. Beautifully manicured grounds and helpful staff. WiFi was better than most marinas. The harbor area was a bit weedy but no problem with fouling the prop. Air conditioning strainer picked up a few weeds after 2 days. A must stop place.
We stayed there for a few days and enjoyed the marina very much. Dock hands were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Kyle who is the manager and attentive to boaters needs. Docks are pristine and power is the best we have experienced. WiFi is very fast. Best on the lake. Centrally located to Burlington.
So close to Canada we could smell the poutine. Nice facility with friendly staff. Easy walk to town.
Stayed 2 nights there on our way north. Thinking about making it our permanent dock for our Sabre 48. Met some nice people at the dock and was invited to their Thirsty Thursday happy hour on the deck. Michelle the dock master was very helpful. They are updating the fuel system so hopefully will be operational soon.
You can always expect something nice from Marriott. Very nice resort with beach, tiki bars and pools. Unfortunately the main restaurant was not open due to Covid. Marina staff was friendly and helpful. I rated it at only 4 stars because the slips were a bit rocky in a north or south wind. Not good wave attenuation. Good for a short stay.
Very nice facility. Due to COVID the water taxi was not running over to Charleston. Hot tub was very nice after playing 18 holes at the nearby links. Resort fee is a bit pricey for the winter months since it was too cold for the pool. They should have reduced resort fees for the winter. I will definitely come back again.
Docks are in great shape. Dock master, Steve was very helpful and got our power problem fixed in a very timely way. The town was undergoing major road project so many stores were not open. It will be beautiful when finished. A good stop.
Nice stop. Convenient to town. Supper friendly staff. I have been here several times in the past and noticed improvements each year.
Super nice place. Great pool on a hot day with a restaurant next to it. Played 9 holes of golf at their pitch and put course and used their loaner bikes to go to town for lunch. The reason for only 4 stars is their WiFi was very weak. We were only halfway out on the dock. In spite of the WiFi the Tides Inn was a great stop.
Nice marina and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Nice pool to cool off on a warm day. Family run for many years. Easy access to the Potomac River. Great place to launch the dinghy and explore. Several loaner cars available.
Overall a nice facility with friendly dock staff. Convenient to town. The RAR brewery has good beer and crab cakes. Dock boards could use replacing and that is why I gave it 4 stars.
Just spent one night. Nice docks and good restaurant on site. Cute town with a good distillery for cold beverages.
We have been coming to Dowery Creek for 10 years. This was our first stay in a while and there was great improvements to the facility. New dock boards and power pedestals. Staff was very helpful and friendly. This visit was during the corona virus lockdown so we did not get off the boat.
Nice facility with a friendly Dockmaster. Stayed during the corona virus lock down so did not get off the boat.
This was the second year we stayed for a month. Very nice facility with friendly dock hands and very attentive to any need. Restaurant is awesome and the pools are clean and inviting. One drawback is the internet is marginal at best. We were only 50 feet from the repeater and had weak signal. For a quality facility like this they should have On Spot.
Stayed for 2 days with 95 degree heat. Pool was a welcome amenity. Nice gift shop and lovely grounds. Some docks need new deck boards but it looks like they are working on it. Fun stay.
Very nice place..Access to the club house and pool area. Water taxi will pick you up and take you to Annapolis.
Beautiful facility with great amenities
Always have a fun time in Charleston and the Mega Dock is a great stop. Friendly staff and great service.
Beautiful facility with shopping nearby. Friendly marina staff. A must stop
Fairly nice facility with friendly staff. Docks are fixed but not much tide. Short walk into town. Sunday most shops are closed however the brewery is open and quite nice.
Overall a nice facility with friendly dock staff. Floating docks would be nice. Good proximity to town.
What a nice friendly yacht club to stay for 2 weeks. Stuart is a fun town. Great restaurants. Enterprise rental car is close by.
Nice facilities and beautiful docks. Restaurant is for members only unless you’re sponsored.
Stayed there in our way back from Key West. Great facilities with friendly staff. Excellent WiFi. Bar is now open
Very nice facility although a bit pricey but worth it to spend Thanksgiving. Several nice restaurants and shops.
Great stay and very convenient to downtown and museums. Don’t miss the Dali museum
Great marina and convenient to beach and town. Good WiFi.
Very nice place with great shopping and many restaurants
Great new docks with self serve fuel and pump out. Very convenient to a very nice small town with several good restaurants
Great friendly staf and beautiful location. Jeremy spent an hour with me going through the charts down the river toward St Louis
