Block Island's Great Salt Pond is one of New England's most popular harbors. A secure harbor almost a mile across provides a beautiful anchorage with excellent facilities and lots to do ashore. Upon entering The Great Salt Pond, the first and largest marina is Champlin's Marina, Hotel and Resort. With a 30' harbor depth and spacious docking facilities, Champlin's Marina can comfortably accommodate 225 boats including deep draft ocean going yachts up to 195 feet.

Our dock attendants will promptly and courteously take care of you and your vessel. Champlin's Marina has everything for the yachtsman including launch service, gas and diesel fuel, water, electricity, ice, showers, a marine pump out station and yacht repairs.

Room accommodations offer an ocean view or a country side view and furnish you with private baths, air conditioning and heat. Just outside you will find our pool, tennis courts, playground, barbeque and many other amenities. In addition, there are beautiful suites available with convertible couches for that extra guest. Cable TV is in every room and a laundry service is available.

Champlin's features a full dockside restaurant, snack shop, bakery, ice cream parlor, pool side bar, our exclusive Tiki Bar and live entertainment on the weekends.

Enjoy a delicious meal indoors or on our outside deck, overlooking the Great Salt Pond. Featuring American and Cajun cuisine and a Raw Bar. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Snack Bar
Stop by our snack bar for breakfast, lunch, snacks or pizza. Open daily 7 AM till midnight.

Bakery / Ice Cream Parlor
Feast on our delicious desserts, enjoy fresh pastries, stuffed breads, ice cream, coffee on our outside deck overlooking the harbor. Open daily 7AM till 11 PM.

Trader's Tiki Bar
Treat yourself to a Champlin's famous frozen mudslide at Trader's Tiki Bar at the end of the dock. Featuring live entertainment on weekends. A Tiki Bar is also located poolside.
