Great moorings, well protected from wind and weather. Welcoming Commodore and members. Launch is run jointly by Sheepshead Bay YC and Miramar. No fuel or pump out. Short walk to lots of restaurants and provisions.

Lovely marina, well kept docks, great helpful dock master and staff, nice heads. Short walk to town with lots of restaurants and a great bakery (Scratch Bakery). Highly recommend!

Cute floating dock, easy to tie up to. Friendly launch service. Lovely clubhouse although we did not need to use anything in the facility.

Lovely marina. My favorite floating docks as they are nice and high so I did not need a step to get on and off my sailboat with a high freeboard. Great ship's store and boutique. Great Galley cafe with awesome view of Norwalk River/Harbor. Great restaurant, Sunset Grille for dinner. All in all a great experience!

Marina Response:
Laura, thank you for the kind words despite your inconvenience with laundry. We hope to see you again soon and you keep us in mind after Nik's closes!

Outstanding harbor, Harbormaster and launch services. They were very flexible when we needed to stay over due to storm surge and waves from Erin. Great moorings, with inner harbor ones closer to town. With the launch service it's not hard to get anywhere. The town is wonderful, well worth a visit. Great restaurants, shops, bakeries, and a wonderful chocolate shop, Turtle Alley. Launch drivers are a wealth of information on what to visit and see in Gloucester. Highly recommend a visit!

Staff was great, floating docks are nice. Fuel dock has high speed or regular for diesel. Restaurant on site (not owned by the marina) was closed for the season which seemed early and was disappointing. Nice clubhouse. We will definitely be back when in the area.

A wonderful marina! Excellent staff, very helpful. Curtis, the dockmaster, is wonderful! So friendly and helpful. He and Caroline helped catch our lines and get us tucked into our slip. They were able to accommodate us a day early, which was great! There was a lot of weather so we really appreciated that it worked out. Wi-fi is great and we got pumpout as well. The boaters lounge is so nice, especially with treats on the weekend. There is a good size washer and dryer, very reasonably priced. The town is lovely, you can walk or take the dinghy into the town dinghy dock. Curtis told us that there is a launch service from the town which is free, they work on tips. It's not too long a walk to town with good restaurants and an ice cream shop. The instructions to come into the marina are spot on. There can be some tide rip coming or going from the Cape Cod Canal which is manageable, just be aware. We will be back for sure, this is one of our favorite marinas.

Marina Response:
Its always a pleasure to have Baji Naji stay with us, Thank you for your kind review! We look forward to having you back soon!

A lovely marina with a warm welcome from the crew. There are not many moorings for boats our size (we have a 38' sailboat) but Paul's was able to accommodate us. Launch service was great, it was a delight to meet Judy and eat her excellent coffeecake, cookies and chicken salad. Breakfast biscuits are delicious as well. We loved our nearly full moon stay at Paul's!

Marina Response:
Thank you for your kind words.

Always a wonderful place to stay. Great restaurants, Latitudes, close to the docks and Salt, at Wentworth by the Sea. Dock crew is wonderful, very helpful. Courtesy car makes provisioning or going into Portsmouth easy. Getting into our slip is much easier than finding parking in Portsmouth! We love SH Wentworth By The Sea!

Great moorings right in front of Tucker's Wharf. We are a 38' sailboat with 6'draft and the wind was perfect to sail right down the harbor. Plenty deep, launch ride to and from town dock quick and included in mooring fee. Lovely town. Easy walk to local grocery and shops, and the many restaurant options nearby. Clean heads with laundry and showers available. Thanks for a great stay, we love visiting your harbor!

Marina Response:
Thank you for your kind words. We are definitely centrally located and take much pride in our facility!

Beautiful spot, great dockhand who helped us on. Merrimack River current can be strong, so local knowledge from the dockmaster, the dockhand and a fellow sailboater were invaluable to getting us safely on and off the face dock. The docks are right near town with easy walking distance to many restaurants. A beautiful waterfront park is right there as well.

Great facility, awesome dock crew, very helpful on a windy day to help us dock. Awesome lounge, good laundry room and nice showers. Enjoyed our stay!

Marina Response:
Laura, Thanks so much for staying with us and for the feedback. We hope to see you again!

Marina and docks are a bit tired. Dockhand helped with lines, but did not help with electric until after we plugged it all in and had no power. Had to find him to ask for help. Breakers for our electric were not on the same post and not in an obvious spot. Heads were dated and seemed clean although it is unusual to charge for shower water, using quarters for time. Expensive laundry (did not use). Nice location close to town and restaurants. After our arrival, we did not see any staff at all. Marina is open to anyone walking down, did not appear to have security. This marina is priced similarly to others in Boothbay Harbor who do not charge for showers and have other amenities. I would stay elsewhere next time I visit Boothbay Harbor.

Great mooring, easy to find with instructions via Dockwa messaging, close to town. Great restaurant in town, had live music in the tavern. There looked to be a good general market, we didn't go in. No launch service so you need a dinghy to get into town. Or you can just stay on your boat and enjoy the gorgeous surroundings.

We were on a mooring one night and the dock the next, both were great! Friendly dock crew, awesome location right near the Maine Lobster Festival and town, great laundry area with new machines that are complimentary to use with your stay. Easy on/off fuel dock. Highly recommend Landings!

Great marina with helpful dockhands and friendly staff. A short walk to town and restaurants. Great coffee at Vacationland coffee just up the hill. Courtesy car is helpful to get the the decently stocked IGA in town. Laundry is available and there are 2 good commercial washers and dryers. Dysart's was our home base for exploring Mount Desert Island, including a couple of great Acadia hikes, one in the Quiet Side and one on the main part of the Park. The area around there is beautiful for sailing and we also did a day sail and came back to Dysart's. There are plenty of moorings as well, if you have a dinghy and don't need to be dockside. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Wonderful marina and restaurant. Dockhands vey helpful, especially in 15kts to help our 38' sailboat with lots of freeboard and windage onto the inside of the face dock. One thing NOT mentioned in the Dockwa description or in any messaging from the marina is that there is NO water available to refill tanks. They are on well water, and thus unable to spare more than 5 gallons or so. Lexie, one of the excellent crew on the dock, told us this info is on the welcoming email, in all caps, but we never received that email. It would be helpful if that is highlighted in the marina description. I would have made sure we filled our tanks before arriving. The shower is lovely there, but there is only one, and quite a line to get clean before dinner. Laundry is free, and a great washer and dryer. Restaurant is excellent and the coffee and blueberry muffins delivered at 0800 to your boat are a nice touch!

Gorgeous spot, we had a mooring. The dinghy dock was easy to get to with lots of space and is well kept. Fuel and water easily obtained before heading to the mooring ball. Beautiful heads/showers. Nice laundry room. Excellent cafe just up the hill (Iris Eats). Great spot!

Marina Response:
We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and all we offer. You found a gem. Tell your friends! See you next time.

Wonderful marina! Lots of regulars who all made us feel welcome. Kim and Chris are great, Kim communicated well when our plans changed and worked hard to accommodate our needs You're right in town, so an easy walk to every thing. Nice clean bathrooms, gated area so you feel secure. The true ambassadors are Scupper and Benny, two of the dog regulars. Will be back!

Great spot, near town with the local grocery (Crosby's) , restaurants and ice cream store nearby. No shore heads, no water easily available, and dock for overnight is open only 4p to 10am. It is shallow at low tide, just 6' at the dock. Narrow channel with many boats moored or anchored to avoid. All that said, it is a delightful stop and a favorite.

Was this helpful?  Yes - NoReport

Gorgeous cove, helpful dockhand (we had to turn around our 38' sailboat in a small area to hook up the electric). Lots of day transients for the exceptional restaurant. No shore heads or showers that we found, except the restaurant, otherwise would be 5 stars. Unfortunately we did not know the general store was closed on Mondays, as we were hoping for breakfast and coffee there. Be aware that you have to thread your way through multiple mooring balls to get to the docks. It's a ferry stop, fun to watch it come and go.

Lots of moorings, great launch service til 11p, all the launch drivers, Gene, Scott and Glen are wonderful. We love Provincetown! So much good food, shopping and entertainment. Lovely boaters lounge outside with fire pit and large screen TVs. Reasonably priced laundry (uses the ShinePay app). One oddity is that there is a $15 charge for water (needed to refill our tanks and we were on a mooring). Close walk to town and all it offers. Great stay, looking forward to our next stay there.

Marina Response:
Always a pleasure having you stay with us, Laura! Thanks for recognizing the talents of our staff. Looking forward to seeing you again soon!

Lovely marina, be aware that it is quite shallow past and outside the long face dock after the fuel dock. We are a 38' sailboat and have a draft of almost 6' and I definitely saw 4' or less in my depth gauge there. Did not run around though and it's plenty deep at the dock at low tide. Dockmaster and crew are great and very helpful.

Wonderful facility, helpful dockhands. Michell in the office is a great resource and so lovely to talk to. Nice laundry facility, no quarters needed, it uses the ShinePay app. There is an area to pick up your Amazon packages if you need to order something. It's our go to marina in Boston Inner Harbor.

Marina Response:
Thank you Laura! It is an honor to have you visit the marina each time, we are so glad you enjoy. Thank you for the five star rating, we look forward to seeing you again in the future!

A lovely spot for a harbor of refuge! We came in from winds up to 25 kts and waves 3-4ft on our 38' sailboat and it was so nice to have calm seas once we came into the bay by Third Beach. The view is beautiful, and, if it was a warmer day, I could have taken my dinghy to the beach. The moorings are very reasonable, and there was plenty of depth (we draw 6ft). We will be back for sure!

Excellent marina, all hands very helpful in docking or when leaving. There is a current coming in or out of the marina, just be aware. Restaurant on site unfortunately not open on a weekday, but Lucky Bones and Lobster House are a short walk away They offer shuttle to town as well. Would stay here anytime I am in Cape May

Wonderful facility, great staff, helpful information about local shopping and restaurants. The only downside side this trip was that the pumpout boats were both not working.Marina store had the dry lubricant we needed. Excellent clean heads. New restaurant Feathered Fox was excellent as was Maddie Rose, with her renovation complete. Total bonus to enjoy watching the F-50s from Sail GP get ready for their weekend races. A great place to stay with a short ferry ride to Manhattan.

We have been here many times over the years as this is a wonderful marina. Jeff and his staff do a great job with fuel, helping you dock and anything you need. There are all floating docks, spacious clean and beautiful bathrooms and lounge, and a lovely well kept pool. Fuel dock easy to get to. If I lived closer I would keep my boat baji-naji here. Since I don't, this is a favorite spot when cruising this part of the Bay.

Excellent facility. Friendly staff. Large campus. Nice restaurant on site. Quieter than the sister campus. There is a shuttle service which will give you a ride to the grocery store for provisions.

Marina Response:

Repeat stay, on a mooring ball this time which was great. Would have been nice to have the head codes and wifi but we arrived late and had dinner reservations. Love the restaurant La Vela!

Small marina, fixed piers, local restaurant unfortunately closed the night we were there, as many places are on a Monday night.

Excellent marina, great on site restaurant. If you are here a few days, there is not much else. Close to Yorktown, but not always easy to get an Uber. We walked out to route 17 for breakfast at a nice diner, and were able to Uber to Yorktown from there. Lovely pool. We were here during an unexpected squall with high winds and our boat was secure. Friendly mariners for whom this is home port were helpful post storm when we needed a ride to the local hardware store. The marina store has some items, but not extensive.

Repeat stay at this excellent marina, great dockhands and staff, awesome restaurant on site, with several more within walking distance. Food Lion within walking distance for providers.

Repeat stay. Excellent marina, helpful dockhands, excellent office help, clean and nice bathroom facilities, and laundry room with free laundry! Great restaurant on site. We were here a few more days than intended thanks to Hurricane Debby. They are great about receiving and holding packages. Wish we could be a Safe Harbor member, we love all the Safe Harbor marinas, but home port is Havre de Grace. Would love to see an associate membership for those of us who sail the Bay, or at least a 'tour' T-shirt with all the Chesapeake Safe Harbor marinas on it. Will definitely be back.

Easy on easy off of the face dock. Great dock master and dock hands of needed. Plenty of depth, diesel available, great restaurant on site and another excellent restaurant within walking distance. We love staying here and will do so anytime we are in the area. It is a great place to start or end a Potomac journey

Moorings full on Labor Day weekend, but for a reduced rate we were able to anchor just past the moorings and behind the breakwater, and had full use of the launch and the shore amenities. Very helpful phone call to arrange this and for guidance on where to anchor and go as this was our first time here. Would come back again!

Was this helpful?  Yes - NoReport

Nice mooring, great launch service. Interesting floating dock for pumpout. For such a large mooring field, consider emailing an overhead picture with mooring locations circled. We've never been here before so it was a bit of a hunt to find the mooring. Beautiful spot to be in.

Was this helpful?  Yes - NoReport

Great moorings, love the overhead photo for our mooring location, excellent guidance on how to approach the harbor and deal with the 5' hump off Red 10. Did not use any services as there was a storm, but we felt snug and secure

Marina Response:
Glad you had a great stay with us and hope you come visit us again! Thanks for the kind words

Great mooring, lovely harbor. Gorgeous sunset

Les Black is an excellent dockmaster. Great directions on where to go to find Halsey's marina, lovely slip, beautiful marina with lovely sunset views. Great water pressure to wash the salt off the boat, excellent facilities with 3 large commercial washers and dryers. Les gave great recommendations for dinner and where to provision. Highly recommend!

Love the overhead photo of where our mooring was, great location. Launch driver was terrific, good restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend if you don't want to be dockside. Plus boat and people watching is fun in Newport!

Was this helpful?  Yes - NoReport

The floating docks require you back into a narrow slip and tie to pilings. No finger piers, need a swim platform to get on and off the dock. Great fellow boaters and Harbormaster team to help you get in or out. No mobile pumpout, and getting to the pumpout on the dock is tricky as the docks are usually occupied. Let the Harbormaster crew know and they will sort it out for you. Beautiful simple beach and boating community. Fantastic seafood at the fish markets.

Was this helpful?  Yes - NoReport

Many moorings, we were a bit far but in a beautiful mooring spot and there was a launch service in and out of town for $5pp per trip. Lovely town to visit, Stop and Shop a 3/4 mile walk from the docks for provisions and lots of restaurants, shops great ice cream and a local liquor store in easy walking distance.

Was this helpful?  Yes - NoReport

Narrow fairways, non existent wi-fi but great dockhands and staff. A lot of wake from harbor traffic. Great location, short walk to town for anything. Excellent coffee roaster (Bard Coffee) makes Portland a worthwhile visit. Ate at DiMillo's for dinner, very good.

Was this helpful?  Yes - NoReport

Stayed on a mooring and the launch staff was great. They showed us where our mooring ball was and ferried us to town right at the Mayflower ll dock as it was late in the day and we didn't want to miss touring the iconic vessel. The town is youthful and not just a tourist spot. Many restaurants nearby as well PYC offering food that evening. Great stay, thank you

Was this helpful?  Yes - NoReport

Dockhands were excellent and helped us get securely tied up. As we were on the older docks, they had a fender board for us since the tide swing is 6ft. The docks there were a bit tired and the wifi spotty at best. However we were right by the shipyard and it was really fun to wander the grounds at our leisure after hours. Excellent coffee shop just outside the Seaport. Easy to come and go after hours as security monitors the after hours gate.

Lovely harbor. We were packed in on the floating dock, and the staff and other boaters were very helpful. SYC club house is beautiful, a bit of a walk from the docks but with laundry, heads and an excellent restaurant Very much enjoyed our dinner there. Stonington Borough is an easy walk with shops and restaurants for breakfast and lunch. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is the lack of wi-fi at the docks. Our phones had no signal and without wi-fi we had to walk up to the club to get weather updates. Stormy couple of days.

Marina Response:
We are so glad you enjoyed the amenities that we have to offer and had a nice stay in Stonington. Wi-fi is very tricky in this area and we can only hope it improves in the future. We hope you will visit again!- Tricia

Great marina with wonderful people and nice floating docks. Gorgeous surroundings. The fuel dock/pumpout area is not obvious until you are there. The heads/showers were clean and nice, there was a lounge with coffee and water, and we were able to borrow the marina car to get a delicious Thai meal in Kilmarnock as well as make a provisions run to Food Lion the same evening. Definitely recommend this marina and will be back!

Delightful small marina with an attentive staff that stays late. Moderate walk to town, with golf carts available.

Beautiful location, outstanding dock master Nico, who gave great instructions on how to get in and find our slip. Fairways are a bit shallow and the channel coming in has shoaling so if you draw more than 5'7 you may not want to chance it. Karen from the office called to double check our draft after we submitted our reservation, and suggested we come in at high tide, which we did. Nico let us know which side of the fairway was deeper We left at high tide as well with no trouble. Beautiful pool area with bar, nice clean large bathroom area with showers. Across the street is Red Eye Dock Bar with live music as well as Dessert First and Harris Crab House.

We got very lucky to get a slip on short notice during the Boat Show weekend. Not cheap, but the location is fantastic. Dusty was great and our dock neighbors were very friendly. We didn't explore the onsite amenities, but they seemed extensive. Knock off a point for a troublesome wifi, which shouldn't be an issue in 2021.

These guys are the best. Great young crew on the weekends.

Marina Response:
Thank you for your review and your support. Hopefully we will see you again soon

We came in under adverse storm conditions, and the dock hand was adept at tying us to the outer dock. Once the storm passed, we moved to our assigned slip. Everything is still top notch. Ketch-22 is good, and the store across the street has good supplies and sandwiches.

Marina Response:
Hi bajinaji, We are happy to hear you had a delicious meal and experience at Ketch 22. Thank you for your review.

This is a very basic marina, and delivers exactly what is necessary. They did not respond to phone or VHF, but were helpful once we arrived. This is also the least expensive marina we've been at on the Bay. A great value if you don't need frills.

Marina Response:
As with many businesses during the past year, staffing was limited. We strive to accommodate our customers and am glad we were able to meet your needs upon arrival. Because of the high volume of business, we are able to keep our fuel and slip prices Very competitive. We are expanding this winter with larger fuel capacity and faster pumps as well as adding more transient slips to meet the ever growing number of boats. Thank you for staying with us and we look forward to your next stay!

Friendly people and very nice docks. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and they were swamped at the hi&dry and so they didn't respond to hails. Once we got that straightened out, everything was wonderful.

Was this helpful?  Yes - NoReport

Dock hand was extra helpful. Check-in was very informative. Loaned us bikes and a courtesy car. Beautiful grounds, still being upgraded. All that is missing is a restaurant, which we're told will be ready next season. We'll be back.

Was this helpful?  Yes - NoReport

We came in late in mid-May, just after re-opening. The staff was really helpful and provided us with a easy-access slip. As we went in search of dinner (take-out!), one of the crew reminded us that there were bikes to borrow. But the best part, when we called in, we mentioned we needed to obtain something unique. By the time we arrived, they had purchased what we needed and handed it to us. Service above and beyond any expectations.

Marina Response:
Thank you so much!
